14U Girls Selected to Participate in The Regional USA Hockey Development Camp
This year, 7 young women from the inaugural Junior Sabres Girls 14U team were selected to participate in the 2024 Regional USA Hockey Development Camp that was held in Skaneateles, New York for the top female 2010 players in New York State. The organization would like to congratulate Kennedy Reiford who was selected to advance to the third and final stage of the Development Camp. After completing the first stage in Cheektowaga out of the West Section, Kennedy plus the other six girls names below then moved on to the next camp and performed extremely well against top competition.

Kennedy Reiford, a member of the inaugural Buffalo Junior Sabres Girls 14U team, has been selected to attend the USA Hockey Girls 14 Eastern Select Camp this June in Manchester, New Hampshire. This Multi-District camp has the Atlantic, Massachusetts, New England, New York and Southeastern Districts joining forces to create a single camp that gathers the top girls in this age group and provides them the opportunity to train, compete and be exposed to some of the country's top coaches. Kennedy was one of 44 forwards chosen out of hundreds across multiple districts.
The organization would also like to announce that Mya DeSantis was invited to participate in a separate event (Premier Prospects Boston) for the top 8th grade girls nationally.

Mya DeSantis, a member of the inaugural Buffalo Junior Sabres Girls 14U team, was invited to participate in the 2024 Premier Prospects Select Camp that was held May 10-12 in Boston, Massachusetts. This unique Prospect Camp is exclusively for many of the top Eighth grade players in the U.S. and featured girls from New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Ohio. It afforded them the opportunity to compete at the highest level in front of many top level Division 1 Coaches, including Boston College, Northeastern, Harvard, Yale and Quinnipiac.
