Lansing Named To USA Hockey All American Game

USA Hockey announced today the 43 players who will compete in the 2025 Chipotle All-American Game, set for Thursday, Jan. 16, at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised live on NHL Network. 

Among those 43 players is Jr. Sabres alum Matthew Lansing.  Lansing, a current member of the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL, played for the Jr. Sabres from 2020-2024. 

During his time with the Jr. Sabres, Matthew served as a leader both on and off the ice.  In his final year with the organization, he served as captain of the 16U team.  That season he announced his commitment to Quinnipiac University and made team USA’s roster for the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.  

The All-American Game features the top NHL draft-eligible players from the U.S. Under-18 National Team of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program, and other teams in United States Hockey League, the nation’s only Tier 1 junior hockey league. The players will be split into two teams from among those selected for the competition.Since its debut in 2012, the Chipotle All-American Game has featured 321 NHL Draft selections, including 70 first-round picks.
