Matthew Lansing Commits to Quinnipiac University

We are pleased to announce that Matthew Lansing who is a current player on our 16U team has committed to Quinnipiac University. Lansing, a 6'0'', 175 pound forward from Tonawanda, NY is entering his 7th season with the Jr. Sabres. "Matthew is a hard working forward that excels in the offensive end of the ice and is very responsible in the defensive zone as well," head coach Jake Brozyna said. "He takes pride in his work ethic on and off the ice. Matthew has great character and comes from a great family. This opportunity is well deserved."

In the 2022-2023 season, Lansing played in 67 games and finished with 71 points. This season, in addition to being on the 16U team, Matthew will be an affiliate player on the Jr. Sabres OJHL 20U team.

Off the ice, they have also helped me to develop as a leader, respect my teammates and to be a better person overall.
